Some women develop inverted nipples. You must see a specialist to make sure that there is no sinister reason that has resulted in nipples being inverted. Once you have been reassured, you could choose to do nothing or consider option of surgery.
The surgery is usually performed as a day case procedure, with quick recovery. You would be advised regarding wound care and nipple protection for few weeks.
